MAKUHARI MESSE (NIPPON CONVENTION CENTRE)

Nippon Convention Center is the core facility of Makuhari New City. Located between Tokyo and Narita International Airport, it is 30 minutes away either by train or car.

At 522 hectares, Makuhari New City is one of the largest urban development projects in Japan.

At the centre of it all is Makuhari Messe, with 3 main facilities, it is well-equipped to meet the most diverse convention needs.

The first facility, the International Exhibition Hall, is the largest such hall in Japan with 72,000m² in total floor area. These can be sub-divided into 11 pillar-free exhibition halls with movable partitions.

The second, the International Conference Hall, can accommodate up to 1,600 conference participants or 2,000 party goers.

The third facility is the Makuhari Event Hall, a multi-purpose event space that can cater to concerts and various sports events. With an area of 3,098m² , it can seat up to 9,000 persons. Next to these facilities is a 160,000m² parking area with space for 5,500 vehicles and 120 large-size vehicles. And in the vicinity are 6 high-class hotels.
